LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® Workshops

Lego® Serious Play® is described by its inventors as a thinking, communication and problem solving tool for groups.

How it works

Using Lego® bricks to express ideas creates an environment of creative thinking, which allows each participant to “mine” their own thinking in a new way.

Our workshops are used for many reasons including to investigate specific issues, topics or circumstances, and to explore abstract ideas such as organisational values, culture or team dynamics.

Benefits

Most participants find that they enjoy this alternative method of expression as they experience deeper, more detailed and also more expansive thinking.

The somewhat unusual situation and the use of physical Lego® models enables participants to listen more attentively and understand each others ideas more fully.

Results

Results are dependent on the remit for the workshop, which is agreed with the organisation before the workshop is designed. An LSP workshop may result in an answer or way forward with an issue: something that is acceptable to the whole group because it is represented by modelling that was developed, constructed and agreed by all participants collaboratively.

Alternatively, a landscape demonstrating strategic relationships, blocks or threats and new opportunities may be the desired result.
